Unconventional Cohesion takes everyday objects and transforms them into performative artworks. The work in the exhibition is influenced by objects that have unrelated purposes but cooperative exchange in an unexpected environment. The exhibition includes new kinetic sculptures and a video performance projected in the space.

Blake T. Weld is an interdisciplinary artist who employs video, found objects, electric motors, and microcontrollers to create actions that embrace the language of uncertainty. Weld’s work has been exhibited nationally and regionally, including New System Exhibition in Portland, Maine, 621 Gallery in Tallahassee, Florida, 500x Gallery in Dallas, Texas, and Amplified Arts in Omaha, NE
